Ministry of Foreign Affairs Chief Administrative Secretary Hon. Ababu Namwamba, EGH is in Ljubljana Slovenia, leading the Kenyan delegation at the ongoing 16th Bled Strategic Forum on the Future of Europe.
Representing the Kenyan government CAS Ababu will address the confrence and speak on “Partnership for a Rules-based Order in the Indo-Pacific”alongside India’s External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Slovenia Foreign Minister Anže Logar and Portuguese Minister of State of Foreign Affairs Augusto Santos Silva.
Since its inception in 2006, the Bled Strategic Forum has evolved into a leading international conference in Central and South-Eastern Europe. The forum strives to give a voice to differing positions, views and understandings of the topics that require the attention of the wider international community.
According to the forum’s Secretary General Peter Grk, he says BSF is a unique and inclusive platform bringing together participants from all facets of society. It builds on the lessons learned from the past and tries to give its share in shaping our common future.
The high level Forum was opened earlier today by European Union Council President H.E Charles Michel and Slovenia Prime Minister H.E Janez Janša.
Accompanied by other snr government officials, CAS Ababu was received at Ljubljana International Airport by Amb. Njeru Githae and Slovenia government officials.
