Confusion in Bungoma home after wife sells cow to attend Churchill show

Chaos and confusion rocked a home in Bungoma county after a wife sold a family cow to attend the famous Churchill show

According to the daily blog, the couple in bitterly exchanged blows after the wife allegedly sold their only cow to get facilitation to attend the much hyped Churchill show.

According to their neighbours who witnessed the drama, the lady who is said to be a staunch fan of the show secretly sold the animal without the husband’s knowledge leading to the fight.

The fight broke out after the husband,  Gabriel saw three middle-aged men walk into their home to pick the animal, claiming his wife, Nanjala, had sold it to them. Upon inquiring, he was told his wife sold it on Thursday, August 29, evening, and they were supposed to pick it the following morning.

“I was shocked to be woken by these three men claiming they have come to pick their cow,” the father of three said.

According to witnesses, the lactating cow was the only source of income for the family and was the property of the wife.

A neighbour who spoke to TUKO.co.ke on phone to confirm the drama said Nanjala bought the cow after receiving money from a women’s group two years ago.

“The wife has been telling us since then that the cow was hers and that she bought it from chama money,” he said

Since the grand advertisement about the live recording of the show, the lady is said to have been bragging about how she will attend the event and sit in the VIP section.

Churchill show which is scheduled to be recorded on Friday evening at Bungoma’s Kiwanja Ndege grounds is the first of it’s kind to be held in the county.
