Spectacular Fireworks Fires Che’s Bay as Isambo Ends in Style

Since its inception in December 2014, The famous Isambo Beach carnival has grown in leaps and bounds to become a huge international brand with global attraction and attendance, not just beacuse of celebrating cultures and heritage of African communities but also opening up to the world, the entire western circuit as a preferred tourist destination.

The festival which took place on 22nd to 24th of December, patroned by Hon. Ababu Namwamba and the event Captain earned its place as Kenya’s only ultimate beach party after a magnificent event that shook the entertainment industry with coctails of activities at the festival trending nationally in the dailies and Media houses. And thus Isambo stamping itself as Kenya’s festival of the year.

Dubbed ‘Lake. Victoria’s hottest party’, Isambo beach feastival lived to its expectation with Guests entertained from sunrise to sunset with fine performances that got them carried away and in some instances even demanding for more from the perfomers.

Officially opened by Kenya’s Deputy President Dr. William Ruto, Isambo Festival rose from grace to grace since the first day to the last.

Right from the Majestic entrance of the Deputy President, Drum beating Burundians, fantastic Uganda’s Nile beats cultural dancers to the epic perfomances of Indians and Chinese Confucius institute, Isambo Beach Festival was something else more than a beach party, a captivating 3 day event worth writing about for the future generation

Perhaps the highlights of the festival were the Beach Wrestling, Tug of war, Eating competition and the beauty contest. The beauty contest was complimented with the display of fireworks which sparkled the air much to the ululations of the crowd, that had turned out in numbers for the annual beach festival at Che’s Bay..

Why save to the last man standing to travel abroad for beach festival when you can drive down the hilly terrains of Western Kenya to Budalang’i for the spectcular Beach festival like no other.

The climax of the day saw screamer sprinkles, screeches and snuffless of fireworks spectacularly renting the night skies with spectacular displays up in the air as Isambo Beauty queens wowed the crowd with their top notch catwalks and creativity as they battled each other to be crowned Brand Isambo Ambassadors.

The highly contested beauty pageant at the Shores of Lake. Victoria saw Sharon Comfort, a student at Masinde Muliro crowned as the Miss. Isambo 2019 and thus given the mantle to advance Brand Isambo’s agenda to the outside world.
